I've been browsing albums of old pics. And wow, what gladness it brings upon me when I look at them and remember the good old times. I never feel that way when I browse the newer pics. Two things. Either I had a happy childhood or I'm just a silly woman looking at silly pics.
*Ewww. Brothers and sisters looking all thin and wearing the fashion then. Hahahaha!*
Filipino families are known to be closely knit. We attend every family member's birthday party, or baptism, or confirmation, or first communion and every other "firsts". We stay with our parents 'til we get married and even after marriage! hehehe. That's not one of my plans though. We prepare foods (and booze, of course) during fiestas as if it will be the last fiesta in the world - with all the relatives coming to our houses and joining the occasion.
I scanned some pics (because I have a friggin' new all-in-one printer. It's not posh but hey, it does exactly what the manual says!
yay! my lovely mama!
ikkle beata...
And no matter how far you've gone down deepshit, your family will always be there for you. lovers will leave you, as well as friends, but never will your family hurt you or disown you. Even when you sometimes wouldn't appreciate the little things they do for you. Even when you marry rebellion all because of boring normality in things or otherwise.
And yes I had a happy childhood! and i hope i have grown up.
