ZzZzzZzzzz

Catnap for an Insomniac

Pixie dust showered unto my shabby state
Non-anticipated lullaby to eternal sleep
Phoenix of the lusty darkness, where art thou?
Come...take a vacation in my snoozy outing
Be the fire to start this infernal silenced combustion
Let’s take a journey into the depths of this narrowed obscurity
My snore speaks of languid excitement
Of disappointment hidden in each heavy breath
Of displeasure en route for an aborted hallucination
Not necessary to wake me up when the band is on parade
Mechanical animation to arouse my subconscious
I long for that libidinous laughter it leaves as it marches
From slumber to pretensions to zombie circumstances

Like a Cinderella from her subterranean siesta...
