Van Gang

Lemme introduce you to the people I regularly share van rides with. Read: Reguarly - when I'm regularly early for work.

Tiyo Ton - Driver/Owner

He is trying to live up to the saying "basta driver, sweet lover". Tyo Ton works for the National Statistics office and boasts of the NSO's "state-of'the-art" security paper equipment from time to time. I've learned from Ate Janet that Tyo Ton liked my old curly hair. And so to maximize likeness, Ate Janet and I asked him a favor of getting us copies of our birth certificates from the NSO for free! :P

It's a finger thing for the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) group.

The group has 3 regulars and 2 semi-regulars and 2 more non-regulars. The three regulars are Tita France (my HS classmate's (Farra) mom), Miss Tess and Miss Someone. Darn it, I forgot her name.

As if working in the Tax Bureau of the Philippines isn't helping their finances, the three regulars take a weekly turn in selling snacks for the Van Gang and the other BIR-ers. I never miss buying one when i join them but today is an exception. I just made myself look busy by putting on earphones and listening to choons the rest of the trip. It worked ;) Their cheese/pineapple sandwich didn't taste good, anyway! hehe

The two semi-regulars are named Tom and IForgotHisName. I heard Tom once diss the bank where I work for and he lost all respect from me ever since. (As if being a BIR Tax Auditor isn't respect-losing yet!). IForgotHisName is the youngest of the BIR bunch. He is a semi-regular because he is usually always late. Believe me when I say he's always late 'cause I usually share a bus with him at around 720AM when Tyo Ton's van has already left. IForgotHisName, during the whole duration of each trip, would stare at and play with his celly. His eyes are stuck to it and won't even care to move or look up and rest his eyes. He might be watching porn on his celly. Or silly BIR stuff. But no, I peeped. It's Sudoku, pfft!

One of the two BIR non-regulars is a college classmate and my officemate's girlfriend. I used to date his bf, the officemate. Small world, eh. I call her poker face. I call him poker face. Don't ask me why. I hope they smile for even just 5 seconds when they get married. Gorsh, the world needs more smiling faces!

I did say it's a finger thing for the BIR peeps. Yeah, 'cause they're always hurrying up for work to punch in that right pointer finger for time in.

Ate Pong is a Provincial government employee. She always buys 2 sandwiches from the BIR trio. One for her and one for Oliver. Ate Pong is friendly to me. She gives me diet advices which I tend just let it pass to my other ear.

Oliver is another van regular. He thinks he is so hot and he thinks he is more hot by cracking bad sex jokes for everyone. NOT! He is Ate Janet's classmate from elementary. I've caught him a lot of times staring at my legs. The fucker.

Ate Lea is a Non-Uniformed Officer at the Philippine National Police's Camp Simeon Ola. She's at the Logistics department. She seems cool and she's friendly to me too. Like Ate Pong, she gives me diet advices but I think she should try the advices to her daughter first. I'd follow suit if its all effective on her daughter.

They all have a sort of territorial pissing inside the van. A seating arrangement you would say. Tita France is ALWAYS seated on the rear side nearest the rear door. Ate Pong and Ate Leah are always nearest the AC. They are air freaks. Ate Nene, the oldie in the group, is ALWAYS seated next to Tyo Ton. I think there's something fishy going on here, but ffs I really don't wanna think about it. *disgust*

I really don't get it why they have to talk about Ate Nene when she's not around. I kinda like Ate Nene. She has a good sense of fashion, she's fashionably late always (hehe). Maybe it's because Ate Nene is an old maid. FFS. I still don't get it.

Of course, there's Ate Janet and myself who always have the observant eyes for them. We're usually amused by IForgotHisName for just looking too stupid and insensitive and a more observant eye for Oliver's eye who keeps lookin at my skirt and legs. Again, the fucker.

Whew!

I believe in karma.

I believe that whatever we do, good or bad, will be done back to us, one-fold or ten-fold.

Look at Pops. In his younger, stronger days, he was an arrogant man. He always had to see your weak side, but never your strong side. He gets angry at Moms for not preparing the dinner table at exactly 7PM. Little things. He never cared if anyone of his non-favorite people were having problems. He'd say: That's what they get. And he cheated on Moms. Big things.

Look at Pops now. He couldn't breathe, unless through an oxygen tank. Even when with oxygen, he still could not breathe easily. Does his sons and daughters even care? Well his favorites do. Little things. Big things.

But I still wish him good health. Mom's, as martyr as she is, gets tired more with Pops condition than Pops himself.

And it's not a rule to apply to others but to myself as well.

I have done good and bad things and will also be done to me ten-fold, i expect. I'm working on doing more good things to offset the bad ones.

At the end of it all, whatever we do, we should always think not only of our selves but of all the people will be affected by our endeavor.

When you curse, you curse to yourself.
When you put-upon someone, it means you're just jealous.
When you disrespect someone, you disrespect your parents.
When you're paranoid, it means you are guilty.

I really don't know why I'm saying this. Maybe I'm sad.
